Lessons That Go Beyond Academics

Students spend years learning math, science, history, and other traditional subjects. But some of the lessons that shape their futures most—how to stay focused, build confidence, overcome setbacks, choose a career, develop professionally, and turn ambition into action—aren’t always taught in the classroom.

Professor Keys helps fill that gap. Through practical, engaging lessons, students build the skills, mindset, and career knowledge to succeed in school, careers, and life.

Behind Professor Keys

My Story. My Mission.

Long before Professor Keys, I was a high school student in St. Louis, MO, trying to chart my own career path. I studied mechanical engineering in college, earned summer internships at Procter & Gamble, and eventually began my career there as an engineer and scientist in R&D. Along the way, I learned that what you accomplish outside the classroom often depends on lessons that aren't always taught inside it.

My career took me from earning more than 15 patents for breakthrough innovations, to completing my MBA while working full-time, to pivoting into brand marketing and managing some of the world's most iconic brands, including Olay, Gillette, Clorox, and Quilted Northern. From there, I moved into tech marketing at Intuit, consulting, and other leadership roles.

Professor Keys is my way of passing along the lessons I’ve learned throughout my life and career. My mission is to equip students with the guidance, mindset, and skills to navigate school, build meaningful careers, achieve their goals, and create fulfilling lives.

I’ve walked the path. Now my goal is to help the next generation navigate theirs.
